Writing from the heart: How to put soul and sass into everything you write
A 60-minute workshop with Greta Solomon
If you’re a writer – no matter how large or small your audience – ultimately, you’re seeking connection. And that means rising above the waters in a saturated world of content. While there are tools to make you visible, it’s the vibrancy of your writing that hooks people in and keeps them coming back for more.
In the past, readers were hungry for ‘how-to’ formulas, and actionable tips. While they still have value, the landscape has changed. We’re now firmly in the ‘age of authenticity’ and people are more concerned with things that are real, true, and soulful.
In this fun, interactive workshop you’ll:
Understand the needs of your readers
Learn what the communication pyramid is and how to navigate it
Experience object writing: A simple technique to write from the heart
See how to spot writing techniques in other people’s work
Explore five ways to open an article or blog post
This workshop is suitable for all writers and journalists. I teach practical, universal techniques that will improve your writing and self-expression.
You ought to leave the workshop feeling rejuvenated, and with a greater sense of purpose. Plus, you’ll have some practical writing techniques you can implement the next time you write an article or blog post.
Pre-workshop consultancy and personalisation is included
You get pre-workshop consultancy with me, which draws on my extensive experience.
I deliver the workshop using PowerPoint and can share the slides afterwards so that you can refer back to the tips and tools.
The workshop also includes a copy of my book Heart, Sass & Soul: Journal Your Way to Inspiration and Happiness for each participant. This contains lots of tools, tips, and exercises for bringing writing to life.
